Nice toy shame about the packaging
This is a nice enough set but the packaging let’s it down and makes it look a little cheap which it isn’t. The animals are well made and a good size ,the mat could be a little better but dies the job well. Fun set but expected better quality for the price.

Not great quality
At first I didn’t think this set was too bad but on closer inspection I can see that it’s not very good quality. The figures have quite clearly been glued together, and some not very well. My daughter didn’t seem to mind, she played with it fine. But I think for the price you’d expect something a bit better.

Strong toxic chemical like smell!!! Thrown in the trash
Would give zero stars if I could. Smells really toxic. A friend even tried to wash the animals and the mat and placed them outside to air out for two days straight, but that still didn’t shake the vile smell of nail vanish remover. Not something you’d want near your child! Although risk of choking is low from 3 onwards but parents are well aware that kids that age still put things in their mouth. That is definitely not something you’d want them to put near their mouth. The little trees are super flimsy and a child would be able to break and break it apart in no time. Mine did in less than 5 minutes. A total waste of money and more importantly dangerous! Can not recommend this and would urge parents not to buy this. Despite the fact that the animals faces are painted awful and look rather creepy. Going into the bin!

JoyKip Safari Animal Play Set.You get a selection of Animal Toy Figures a Play Mat and some scenery pieces.I have nothing good to say about this set in any way shape or form. When I opened the box it stank really strong of solvent then I discovered that all the animals where made in 2 pieces or more and then glued together. Most of the seams don’t match up so you can clearly see it made of multiple pieces and there is glue residue all along the seam and even on the figure it’s self.This set is dreadful especially for the £15.99 asking price I wouldn’t dare give this to my kids 😡😡😡.The mat is made from a strange felt type material that looks like something from the building trade and I’ve only used it for the purpose of this review and it’s already showing signs of wear.This set is an absolute joke and I seriously don’t recommend it I’ve never seen such poor quality in a product.

Animals are made in 2 parts and stuck together
Everything comes in a colourful cardboard box. Inside you get a playmat, 13 animals, 4 sets of trees and a fence. The animals are a good size but do feel slightly let down by them. The majority of them stand up and are quite stable, but the giraffe doesnt stand at all. The trees keep falling over also. Everything is all made of plastic and the animals seem to have been made in 2 parts and glued together. A few of them dont look quite right. There was a couple gaps in 2, so not completely glued around. They are nicely coloured. The mat unfolds to a good size, it does take a little time and play to flatten it out abit where it’s been folded up. Brightly coloured, it shows a zoo/safari park with roads and animals. It seems a little costly for what you get and for the quality of the animals, especially as there all glued together.

Not the highest quality but better than expected at this price. A lot of animals and a play mat (although confusing as it looks like it belongs with a car set).Treat the kids to a zoo or wildlife park.

Good toy for young children
Ideal toy for young children. My grandsons straight away went to this toy (age 3 and 1) and were eager to open it. The range of animals is great, the mat is quite thick and not paper thin nor flimsy. The box has incorrect grammar on and so I’m unsure if this would put people off if they’re looking to buy it as a present for someone. Would recommend

Lucky that kids aren’t as fussy as adults !
There is no doubt about it that this is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP and clearly from a country that makes cheap stuff like this, cheaply! It really is cheap and nasty. I didn’t realise you still got these sort of cheap and nasty sets anymore to be honest. The animals are made in 2 halves and joined together along the middle or neck – some aren’t too bad, but others look awful and I can see kids trying to prise them apart thinking (and who wouldn’t as I did this with one of them) that thay are supposed to come apart. This makes them look incredibly cheap. And I notice they don’t look like that in the product pictures !!!! The giraffe doesn’t stand up either as is leaning forward to much – I did sort this by bending and pushing his front legs forward.So – I HATE IT! But children aren’t fussy like adults about cheap nasty plastic (and the environment) so they will probably like it. Current price of £14.99 ???!? Up to you whether you think its worth it. Personally I’d rather pay £25 for a lovely wooden set of this instead.I hope you found this helpful. Please let me know if you did as its nice to know. Thankyou 😊

Animal safari figurines a big hit with children
Nice set of animal figures with a ‘safari’ playmat and some ‘corral’ fencing. Grandchildren love playing with them. Listed as non-toxic and reasonably priced.

For the price can’t complain I think over all is a good set
This is a good animal set for the kids to play, I really liked the mat. The animals some are really nice and well made and others are not, the trees and the fences are really nice too. I think for the price is a good set, my daughter is loving it and playing a lot with it. I would recommend if you want to keep your child busy and to develop their imagination.

A GOOD COLLECTION OF ANIMALS BUT NO VEHICLES.
The play mat required a pressing with a COOL iron, not essential really.It is folded 4 times to fit in the box. The mat is soft yet adequate.The animal details are quite good. The only flaw I spotted is the tusks on the elephant are not evenly painted.It would have been nice to have just 1 vehicle, say a rangers jeep, included.My picture shows the back of the mat. And the box to scale against the play mat.Everything fits snugly in the box. So quite ergonomic.

This is a great little playset, perfect for children to get lost in animal play.This set comes with safari animal figures, trees and playmat.We used it at home for our children, but my wife has also taken it into the classroom where she used it with her children as a treat.The toys are well made with good detail and small enough for little hands to play easily.

Okay set for an okay price
This is such a difficult review as there are so many pros and cons to this set! You get 14 animals, some trees, fences and a mat.The animals are definitely on the cheaper side but just going by other reviews I’ve definitely had a better set, you can see where they have all be joined but they arnt to bad. My toddler loves his animals and he goes through them all saying their names and doing their noises, he doesn’t care to much about the quality.Next we move on to the mat, it has such a mix of cartoon and lifelike effects, there’s different areas with random animals on it. Just a huge mix of things going on.Overall this is an okay set for and okay price.

JoyKip Safari Animal Toy Figures for Kids with Play Mat and TreesThe giraffe, my sons’ favorite toy animal, does not stand. He keeps telling me ‘roto’, which means broken in English.He seems happy playing with other animals tho. Its size is just perfect for his tiny hands. But I can’t say that it has the best quality, not even mediocre. The animals are not polished well, that they look so odd. They smell slightly of plastic, and they are hollow. And the mat came folded, so it does not lay flat on the floor and not keeping the animals sturdy standing.Overall, he may have enjoyed it, but the giraffe is roto.

Nice set but it could be a lot better
My daughter absolutely loves this animal set, she will happily play with it for hours. The set is really good to help develop children’s fine motor skills and great for speech development learning the animals’ names.Since getting this set my little girl now knows which Animals are which and can point them out.The trees and fences were a great addition along with the felt play mat. The mat is large enough to be used easily which folds up simply for storage when not in use.This seemed like great value compared to buying individual animals.I’ve noticed that some of the animals have been made in two pieces and stuck together and they look like they’ve been sliced in half. A few of the animals can’t stand up by themselves which is a little bit annoying.

Bit of a hit and miss with this first off all I wouldn’t recommend this as a gift the box is full of spelling mistakes looks werid like you just picked it up somewhere and thought last minute oh this will doSome of the animals I won’t lie just look downright creepy, what is with the red eyes on some of them?They’re also stuck on two parts and not seamless that looks werid too and cheapI do really like the mat it’s the one thing that is actually decent quality and bigger then I expected it to beGiven the price for what you get is pretty decent and you do get quite alot despite the few faults, I don’t have kids so I won’t be gifting it but when my neices and nephews pop round they do seem to enjoy it and that’s the main thing

Good For A Child’s Imagination
OK so our grandson does love playing with this JoyKip Safari Animal Toy Figures with Play Mat . Its clearly stimulating his imagination and creativity. The mat itself is well made from good quality material and the little figures are mostly well molded too. There is the odd one that looks a bit distorted and out of shape, but this doesn’t seem to bother our 4 year old grandson. There’s also some strange grammar on the box. Its clear that its been produced in China and that the maker’s product development people could get hold of a decent Chinese to English translator. A problem I find with a lot of Chinese goods these days. That said you do get a lot for your money (£15.99) and so long as you don’t let your child learn their grammar from the packaging its a decent toy.

Very cute set
Great animal set, it’s got all the animals you’d expect to see and then a few random ones that are a pleasant surprise.All well made and lots of fun to play with, all the animals have animated facial expressions which really lend themselves well to imaginary play.Comes with a detailed play mat that kids can interacts with during play.

I’ve got mixed feelings on this set so thought I’d list the main pros and cons below.Pros:1. It’s good value for money at the current price of £15.99 considering how many figures you get plus the mat.2. The mat is cute, colourful and thick enough, it feels almost like felt3. A good range of animals is includedCons:1. Spelling mistakes and bad grammar on the box let it down2. Some of the animals have been made in two pieces and stuck together so look like they’ve been sliced in half3. Some of the animals can’t stand up like the giraffe and the trees can’t stand up by themselves either which frustrated my little girl.4. You only get 4 pieces of fence so not big enough to put all the animals in, could of done with more.Overall I’d recommend it if you want it for your own children and therefore don’t care about the box etc but wouldn’t recommend it as a gift.

Good Gift
I’d want to write this review in a point-by-point format. So you can decide whether or not to buy it.- This package is quite inexpensive at it’s present pricing (£15.99). You will receive a large mat measuring 80cm*80cm, 13 animal figures, four trees, and four fences.- Mat is constructed of high-quality materials and bright colours, making it more appealing to kids.- However, there is a problem with the animal figurines, since they all have an unsightly joint in the middle.- Some of the characters, such as the Gorilla and Bear, have red eyes, which make them appear rather frightening.- It does not have the odour of a cheap plastic set.- Everything came in a large box, making it easy to keep and give as a present.If the animals had been in good condition, I would have rated it five stars.

These are fantastic. Super durable. Full of colour and animals actually resemble the animal with features. However there is the weird slice down the middle of the animal which seems is where they glued them together. Its not really a big thing until your children ask what is this. Charming set with a few flaws
This is a charming little animal set. Consisting of 13 jungle animals, 4 palm trees, 4 fence panels & a mat it’s represents good value for money.Problem for me is there a number of little flaws, which if rectified would make this a must buy. I mean being picky but the things that stand out are: Poor paint work on some of the animals (see the picture of the elephant tusks) some struggle to stand up (the giraffe in particular) and large ugly joints on many of the animals. There are also a quite detailed phallus on many of the animals!! The mat has cartoony pictures of animals printed on it, so it would’ve been nice to have had each animal that’s represented on the mat so younger children could’ve had a game of matching them up. Also there are roads and parking spaces printed on the mat so maybe a couple of cars would’ve been a nice inclusion….but that’s me being a perfectionist!I would recommend it for the money, but it could’ve been so much better.

Glue residue!

So I got everything out the box and tried to find where the smell was coming from and I came to the conclusion that its from the animals as they are stuck together in two pieces and I could see some glue residue, but after been out the box for a hour or so the smell disappeared.So in this set you get a playmat, a good selection of safari animals that are…..Crocodile, gorilla, elk, lioness, giraffe, cheetah, tiger, lion, hippo, Kangaroo zebra, elephant and wolf,each animal is 3 inch to 6 inch in size, some fences and trees…….. The playmat has roads on them so you could add some toy cars too it and that’s just what our grandson did when he visited and I gave him this to play with!The quality is average and so is the price for this kind of thing.

Great Collection of Wild Animals
For the price this is actually a pretty good set in relation to the number of animals you get and how big they are, and the felt play mat is a nice large size too and quite colourful and the roads on the design mean you can mix in some car play too with your own cars. The animals overall are actually pretty well detailed (some very much so with folds in the skin and very good finer detail in the faces – such as the pretty scaring looking roaring hippo!), with only the crocodile looking a little cheap due to its bright green colour and lack of detail, although the darker alligator makes up for this with good detail and a posable mouth that opens and closes. I really like the large cat collections here especially including the lion and tiger etc.The giraffe if the only animal in our set who can’t stand up on his own initially as he’s too top heavy at the front – to fix this you can pull his neck right back so that it’s more vertical and bending backwards slightly which makes it look like his head is reaching up to eat some leaves from a tree and then pull his upper front legs out and forward as much as possible and lower front legs out and then curve his feet down slightly and he can stand on his own, but will still fall over if anything goes too close to him. The visible joins in some of the animals really isn’t all that noticeable at all in my opinion – it’s a single line on those of them that you can see the join and on most the animal is too dark to notice it particularly and where you can notice it then it just looks like a line in the skin, no issue at all really and especially not to a child. On top of this I’ve pulled really hard on the animals either side of the join and none of them have come apart so they’re still solid and well made.The fence and trees need a little velcro pad on the bottom to make them stick to the mat which we had some of so really not a big deal they don;t stand up on their own considering how lightweight they are and overall I think for the price this is a a good set and would recommend.

This is a superb my 2 Yr old loves animals and with the mat his imagination runs wild he plays for hours and even takes them round the house and in bed and car he takes at least 2 animals with him wherever he goes a must for little animal lovers
